Quality Lead Tech   Night Shift: 11PM- 7AM, Monday - Friday Afternoon Shift: 3PM- 11PM, Monday- Friday   Your Seat at the table

Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine laboratory operations in a quality assurance setting. Duties usually consist of making measurements, performing several routine quantitative and qualitative biological or chemical analytical tests according to standard procedures. 

  • Monitoring of product in manufacturing including color, moisture, PH, weight, size etc.in a timely manner
  • Inspection of finished product (package, seal integrity, codes, weights, etc)
  • Packaged product evaluation
  • Metal detection validation
  • Record keeping
  • Holding product
  • Varied inspections throughout the week
  • Operate and calibrate applicable testing machines
  • Pulling quality approved samples as requested
  • May perform other duties as required.
 

What you bring to the table

  • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Mathematical Skills: Above average math skills
  • Machines, Tools, or Equipment Used:  Caliper – frequently, Scales – frequently, Machines used for testing: Moisture, salt, pH, and color. Knowledge on machines is done by on-the-job training.
  • Education and Experience: High school or GED
